STEM Literacy for Sustainable Development Goal

Call for Papers
Our modern world has brought societal and environmental problems and implores everyone to live sustainably. Education, including STEM education, has a fundamental role in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) implementation as one of the main drivers of human development. Powerful implementation tools back SDGs by serving as vehicles to grow awareness, enhance knowledge and build up the global player's capacity to show active roles in the 2030 Development Agenda. This special issue is organized to stimulate innovative research on STEM literacy, curriculum development, teaching, assessment, and other related topics, particularly in addressing the SDSs.
The manuscript submitted for this special issue must have been presented at the 5th International Annual Meeting on STEM Education 2022, which include the following topics:
- Perspectives on STEM in education
- Transdisciplinary learning in STEM education
- Research-based practices for engaging students in STEM learning
- Digital technologies/learning spaces facilitating STEM learning
- School-industry-community partnerships in STEM learning
- STEM Teacher Education and Professional learning
- Integrated pedagogical approaches to STEM
- Policy and leadership for improving STEM education
- Assessment and evaluation of STEM education outcomes
- STEM as critical literacy
- Diverse learners in STEM Learning
- STEM education and environmental sustainability
